Joyful Singers:
(Ages 3 through Middle School);
The children participate in worship throughout the year. They present a Christmas program in December and a spring program in March or April.
Joyful Ringers:
This group consists of Kindergarten through Middle school. They ring 3 octaves of hand chimes .
Whitechapel Ringers:
For Youth and Adults: The group was named for the Whitechapel Handbells which were made in Whitechapel, London, England. We have 5 octaves of bells.
Chancel Choir:
For Youth and Adults. The choir leads worship during the year. They present a Christmas cantata and lead the Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service.
Music Staff:
Dr. Jose Rivera: Chancel Choir Director and coordinator of Music Education, Assistant Professor of Choral Music, and Conductor of the University Chorale at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
Camille G. Devaney: Organist/Music Director/Handbells/Children’s Choirs
Jones Memorial Fund and Music Trust Funds:
Many guest musicians enhance worship during the year, including brass, bagpipes, woodwinds, strings, and vocal soloists at various times. Guest musicians are made possible by trust funds.
